India's chess world champion Viswanathan Anand will clash with Gawain Jones of England in the fifth round of the London Chess Classic at the Olympia here.
So far, Anand has luckily escaped against England’s Luke McShane, missed out on beating Armenia’s Levon Aronian and played out a draw with Russian Vladimir Kramnik.
The Indian is thus under pressure pressure to register his first win in 17 straight classical chess games. Anand is currently with three points from the three draws this far. Magnus Carlsen of Norway leads the table with 10 points from four matches.
