The New Jersey Nets were first in line to try to woo LeBron James away from Cleveland, and the NBA's two-time Most Valuable Player said they made a good pitch.
James famously opted for Miami, where he joined Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh to form an imposing trio, who were taking on the Nets yesterday.
"Nothing bad from that meeting and nothing bad I have to say about this organization. It was great."
While James said he doesn't regret his decision, he indicated that "The Decision"u00a0-- the heavily criticized hour-long television broadcast in which he announced his choice of new teamu00a0-- may not have been the best way to go.
"If I had a do-over, I'd probably do it a little bit differently," James said, although he wasn't sure exactly what he'd change.
One thing he wouldn't alter: his choice of team. "I'm happy I'm in this uniformu00a0-- but much respect to the Nets," James said.
