American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, fondly known as JLo, has said that she doesn't mind her relationship with former baseball star Alex Rodriguez being called by the media J-Rod. The Shades of Blue actress began dating the former New York Yankees star in February 2017.

This isn't the first time she has faced such an incident. When she dated Hollywood actor Ben Affleck from 2002 to 2004, they were nicknamed 'Bennifer'.

Lopez, however, was very nonchalant about the nickname. She recently told Entertainment Tonight: "It's fine. We kind of thought that would happen, because people who knew us were already (saying) it. So, you guys, it's not like you were original or anything!"

The 47-year-old is currently working on a Spanish album, and she was quick to express her excitement about it. "I think it's one of the best albums I've made in a long time, and I'm super proud of it," she said.

"Alex loves it (the song). I'm so excited, you know, every time I finish something, I bring it home and I want him to hear it. He's so supportive. He's such a supportive person and he's so lovely."
