Sacred Heart SC eked out a hardfought 2-1 win over Parsn FC in a MDFA Div III qualifying league at the Xaverian Ground, Parel yesterday.
Sacred Heart's Aaron Fernandes opened the scoring in the fifth before Parsn's Harshad Dudhwadkar made it 1-1 four minutes later.
Elvis Rodrigues scored the late winner to help Sacred Heart earn the full three points. Earlier in another match, Universal Sport Club had things much their own way as they trounced Holy Trinity Sports Club by a comfortable 3-0 margin.
