Global chess league season three inaugurated in city

Season three of the Global Chess League (FCL) was launched in Mumbai at a grand ceremony at the Royal Opera House on Saturday.
The first of 34 GCL matches will be played on Sunday, with the Grand Finale on December 23.
The tournament features six teams comprising of top class players such as Viswanathan Anand, D Gukesh, Arjun Erigaisi, Alireza Firouzja, Fabiano Caruana, Hikaru Nakamura, and Wesley So, to name a few.
