New Delhi: Union Minister Babul Supriyo met with an accident near southwest Delhi's Subroto Park area while he was heading towards IGI Airport on a motorbike on Friday evening.
The Minister of State for Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation was on Friday was rushed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after suffering minor injuries during the road accident. He is out of danger.

He received injuries in his elbow and is being treated for that, sources in AIIMS said, adding his condition is stable.
Supriyo was on his way to the airport to receive his daughter.
His car was tailing the cruiser motorbike which he was riding. He suddenly lost control over the two-wheeler and hit the rear side of an SUV, a senior police official said.
"He will be under observation for some time before getting released," the doctor said.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj is also admitted at AIIMS since last week after suffering from chest congestion and high fever.
