Cops were spotted nabbing motorists who had sneaked their bikes on to the JJ Marg Flyover yesterday, where two-wheelers are not allowed; they also flagged down a cop who was riding his bike on the flyover

Not paying heed to the traffic cops’ beckoning and defiant about the traffic rules he had just broken, the cop drove on, not bothering to stop

Now that we have the picture with the vehicle number readable would we get to know the story what happened with the cop? Is he still serving his duty with no investigation initiated?

I have seen many cops breaking the rules many times. Wrong side driving, Without helmet, Triple seat, Non bike zone driving, Breaking signals for no reason (without actually any emergency many times). This is mostly because law is only for poor and middle class actually.

law should be equal to every one, does not matter who he is. when police, leaders does obey the rules can't expect to others to abide . if it is emergency police can do so, but most of the time police think they can do anything because no one can not bring to them in justice. police are the most corrupt in india than any body . their should be spy camera eveyr where to watch police men. no one trust the police . no matter how much there salary is they will ask for bribe. we all suffered by them.

Not surprising. Cops are the biggest rule-breakers. So now, who is going to punish this errant cop, and WHEN?

Thank You Mid-Day for highlighting this EVERYDAY routine.. Has anybody seen a police-wala wearing a seatbelt ?? or stopping at traffic lights ?? surprised... yes you must have never seen... rules are not meant for the people who rule.. they just dictate. there is nobody to question them. as you can see in the pic, the official on the bike is least bothered. and i am sure nobody will be bothered to take any action as well.

It's a common practice for the them, They do it intentionally because they know, no one will stop them...

Mr. Maria what do you have to say, Dismiss them or you need to resign if you cannot have your own following the rule. Is it like the priest who do not practice what they preach. Just for the sake of good citizen you need to resign if no action would be taken against them.
