Fashionistas can head to Kalyani Nagar to shop at designer Nivedita Saboo’s boutique. The spacious boutique is built inside a bungalow and this is her second outlet in the city (the first store is on FC Road).
Swarovski, crystals, gota and chikankari work finds prominence in her designs
As you enter the store, it is evident that a lot of thought has gone into the décor (most of which is handpicked). The chandeliers are eye-catching as well. The two-floor store is spread over 5,000 square feet and offers a good selection of clothes for both men and women.

On offer are embroidered sarees, ghagra cholis, sarees in rich fabrics like French net, chiffon and velvet. The clothing is heavily embellished with Swarovski, crystals, gota and chikankari work. The apparel is seen in unusual and refreshing combinations of colour including shades like peach, mint, lemon and more. There’s also a lot of variety in terms of bridal lehengas and anarkalis. The saris and anarkalis are priced from R15,000 onwards, lehengas priced from Rs75,000, and go up to R6 lakhs, depending on the cloth and the work done on it.

For men, there are blazers and jackets with fabrics like suede, velvet and brocade. Compared to women, the men’s collection features less options but, when compared to the first store, the collection for men is better at this store.
They also offer casual shirts and trendy bottoms, with unique style and patterns. The range for men starts from Rs 5,000 onwards and Indian wear goes up to R50,000 depending on the the fabric and embroidery.
