Who says, there won't be a glamour-filled IPL season 4,sans its creator Lalit Modi? Fashion guru Prasad Bidapa, who has won the rights to host these official parties, gives us a sneak peak to aftermatch party plans across India."The excitement around the IPL will remain intact this time too. If it was the cheerleaders, the models or the Bollywood beauties that made the cricketing IPL season more attractive than ever before, then get into party gear again. The glam season kicks in tomorrow night," Prasad said.

The organisers are flying down 12 top-notch fashion designers from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, besides the top national designers to get the mercury levels soaring. "There will be 24 shows at 24 after parties planned post all match days.

Bollywood stars like Shilpa Shetty, Preity Zinta and businessman Vijay Mallya are sure to rub shoulders with cheerleaders and supermodels at these parties," Prasad said. To showcase their collections after first match this Friday, the first IPL after party will see fashion designer Bibi showcase collections at Kochi. On the same day, Manoviraj Khosla will showcase his collections followed by Samant Chauhan this Sunday in Delhi.

Rahul Mishra will showcase at Mumbai on April 17, followed by Sanchita Ajjampur's swimsuit collection scorching the ramp in Bangalore on April 19. These will be followed by fashion designers Zubair Kirmani, Sharbari Datta, Shravan, Rizwan Beyg, Niskha Lulla, Jason and Anshu, Dimuthu, Asif Shah, Nam G,Ritu and Rochna and Sneha.

Early to bed?
Refuting all comments from last season's IPL flak of cricketers making it quite a night at the after-parties and letting their hair down into the wee hours of the morning more than on the greens, there's been no lesson learnt. In fact even M S Dhoni was not in favour of cricketers waking up night after night. He had stated, "Too many IPL afterparties are taking a toll on our energy levels."

Good or bad, who cares? The parties are here to stay. As the IPL fever kicks in, there are rumours doing the rounds that to keep gatecrashers at bay, besides the invites being sent out to the cr me de la creme in each of the city venues, those who want to be spotted at the parties would have to shell out for an entry ticket.

Glam and glitterati
The last three seasons saw city crowds making a beeline to get into one of the parties. Organisers Sunil and Vijay of DNA Networks, who are handling the events, disagree, saying, "I am not yet ready to comment on the ticket price for the parties, but I think someone is just spreading rumours. The parties will be full of glamour for sure, but there will not be an entry ticket."
