At the time of going to press, the star was scheduled to leave for home last night. Dr Khusrav Bajan from the Hinduja Healthcare Surgical Hospital tells us, “Ranveer’s fitness levels will help him get back his health soon. He will be at home and we have requested him to take adequate rest. He will have to undergo regular medical investigation to keep a tab on his health and his response to the medicines.”

Though Ranveer is home but medical experts have cautioned him not to undertake any strenuous physical activity for the next two weeks. Dr Bajan adds, “He can resume work depending on his medical reports. He can eat in moderation and has to remain hydrated at all times.”

The actor’s official spokesperson says, “Ranveer is on the road to recovery and has been responding to the treatment. However, the doctors have advised complete rest for the next 15 days.” The actor stayed in the hospital for a week.

The actor took to a social networking site from his hospital bed, stating, “Your love & blessings have helped me fight this illness ! Thank you all for the warmth & wishes that helped me tide over my weakest hour” (sic).u00a0
