The actor brought in his birthday without much fanfare
Shabbir Ahluwalia has turned 37 today, but prefers to keep the celebration a low key affair. The actor was in Toronto for a while and has just returned back last night.

We called up the actor to wish him on his birthday and to know his plans for tonight. He said, “I just came back from Toronto, so not going to be doing anything special. I will be celebrating my birthday with my family.”
So did Kanchi give you anything special on your 37th birthday. “Yes, she did but it is extremely personal and private. Not something I wish to share." Fair enough! However, Kanchi Kaul (the wife) has posted a very sweet and lovey-dovey message on her Instagram account. She wrote, “#happybirthdayshabir u r the STAR that ROCKS my world. U deserve the best of everything."
His co-star from Kumkum Bhagya, Sriti Jha has also expressed that he is the best co-star she has ever worked with. She wrote, "Happy Birthday @shabirahluwalia I wish I was more like you You're Marlon Brando to my Johnny Depp. #bestcostarever" Aww now that is definitely cute, no?
