“Badhe has cases of robbery and rioting registered against him at several police stations in the city. A proposal was sent to the senior officials for his externment from the district,” said inspector Rajendra Kadam of the Khadak police station. He added that the trio accosted Bhade soon after he left his residence after dinner.
“The moment Bhade saw them, he fled the spot. But the assailants, who were armed with sharp weapons, chased him and assaulted him,” he said. Kadam said prima facie the murder appeared to be the outcome of an old enmity between the deceased and the accused, for which the exact reason was yet to be ascertained. u00a0
