Taal Inc, an organisation that conducts drum circles, has collaborated with artistes from different music disciplines for a performance soaked in the flavour of West African music.

Joining the members of Taal Inc, will be musicians like Varun Venkit (vocals/percussion), Gino Banks (drums), Sheldon D’silva (bass), Sanjay Divecha (guitar), Gandhaar Amin (flute/vocals/percussion), and Megha Bhardwaj (vocals).

“I’m sure people will like the music as this is the first time we will be playing music from West Africa in the city,” says Divecha.

Adding to that, Janak, a member of Taal Inc, shares, “In India, we have songs for all occasions. Similarly, people in West Africa also have songs for all occasions, which are their traditional Folk songs. We will try and contemporarise these songs in our performance.”
