GAIL Begins Preventive Vigilance Campaign 2026 with Focus on Integrity, Transparency and Accountability

The three month Preventive Vigilance Campaign 2026, being observed from 17 August to 16 November 2026, as a precursor to Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, was formally inaugurated on 17th August 2026 at GAIL's Corporate Office by Shri Deepak Gupta, CMD GAIL.

The event was attended by Shri Ayush Gupta, Director (HR); Shri Sanjay Kumar, Director (Marketing); Shri Rajeev Kumar Singhal, Director (Business Development); Shri S. K. Sinha, Director (Finance); and Shri Rajnesh Singh, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), GAIL, along with Executive Directors, Heads of Departments, senior officials and employees from various work centres across the organisation through VC.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Deepak Gupta, CMD, highlighted the significance of this year's campaign theme, "सत्यनिष्ठा से समृद्धि / Probity for Prosperity", emphasising that integrity and ethical conduct form the foundation of sustainable growth, organisational excellence and public trust. He encouraged employees across GAIL to actively participate in the campaign.

The CMD also underscored that preventive vigilance is much more than a compliance requirement; it is a strategic and proactive approach to strengthening organisational systems, mitigating risks, preventing irregularities and fostering good governance practices.

The three month campaign, which will focus on five key areas: Disposal of Complaints, Disposal of cases, Capacity Building Programs, Digital Initiatives and Contract Management, through a series of activities, workshops, awareness sessions and employee engagement initiatives, will be organised across GAIL offices and project sites to further embed the principles of integrity and good governance into the organisational culture.

Through the Preventive Vigilance Campaign 2026, GAIL renews its commitment to probity, transparency and accountability, strengthening the foundation for sustainable growth and organisational excellence.
