Boney Kapoor on weight loss
Filmmaker Boney Kapoor often grabs attention for his social media posts and unfiltered reactions. Recently, he stunned everyone by giving a glimpse of his massive transformation as he lost 26 kgs. As per reports, the filmmaker is only following a diet and not working out to achieve this lean physique.
Photos of Boney Kapoor looking visibly leaner have gone viral on social media. According to reports, his weight loss secret lies in his disciplined lifestyle. He skips dinner and instead has only soups. His breakfast is limited to fruit juice and jowar roti. Remarkably, he hasn't been relying on any workout routine - just sheer willpower and dietary discipline.
The post caught the attention of many Instagram users, who speculated the producer might have used Ozempic and Mounjaro. A comment read, "Bollywood, which was struggling to lose weight for years, all of a sudden started losing weight with fruit juice. Welcome to the era of Ozempic and Mounjaro." Another user wrote, "Drinking juices and appearing thin doesn't define fitness or health. There is a lot more behind the word FITNESS."
Last year, Boney opened up about his transformation journey, which also included getting a hair transplant. Speaking candidly, he said, "My wife Sri used to tell me, âBoney, first lose weight, then you can fix your hair.' I remembered my wife's advice, who wanted me to lose weight before the hair transplant, so I went on a diet and lost about 14 kgs. It's hard for me to exercise, but I still managed to shed weight."
He also recalled, "The seeds were sown by my wife. She was always after me to lose weight. She was a health-conscious person herself. I used to go for a walk with her. I used to go to the gym with her. She (Sridevi) was very clear on when she wanted to eat and what she wanted to eat. I tried my best to do that, but I couldn't. I feel Sri is still around me - my wife is still around me and motivating me to lose weight."
On the work front, the filmmaker is next set to direct No Entry 2, which stars Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles.
