Salim Khan states why Javed Akhtar and he would have no objection to the remake of 'Seeta Aur Geeta'

Looks like this time the writer duo of Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan have had a change of heart. While the two have been in the news lately for putting up a strong fight against the remake of their original hit Zanjeer, they seem to be taking easy the buzz about Seeta Aur Geeta being remade.

A source says, "It was the same team that wrote the Hema Malini starrer. The remake of Zanjeer is now in legal tangles. But looks like Seeta Aur Geeta's remake may not face any problem at all."

Confirming the same, Khan tells us, "Seeta Aur Geeta is actually the female version of Ram Aur Shyam, which in turn was inspired by a novel called Scapegoat. In that case, we don't have any right over it. Our argument about Zanjeer is different as it was our original script. In case of Seeta Aur Geeta, everyone is allowed to have their own interpretation."
