The actor, seen in films like 'Balak Palak', 'Navra Maza Navsacha' and 'Valu' reportedly had a severly damaged liver.
He died on Wednesday afternoon at the Sujay Hospital.
"He was hospitalised on July 1 and he passed away on July 3 at 12 p.m.," a source from the hospital said.
