Aamir Khan's relationship with Gauri Spratt is not a secret. The two have been dating for quite some time now. Aamir has opened up about finding peace and emotional fulfilment with Gauri. Reflecting on his past relationships with Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta, the actor shared that despite a deep bond, things didn't work out.
"I am very lucky that I met Gauri and our relationship started together. She is great; I feel at peace with her. Although my relationship with (ex-wives) Kiran (Rao) and Reena (Dutta) was also very deep, things didn't work out. When you asked, I felt that I am very blessed that Gauri entered my life. We are very happy together. Mujhe lagta hai ab main jaake mukammal hua hu (I feel complete today)," Aamir told Navbharat Times.
The actor also opened up about owning his personal and professional shortcomings and admitted, "Every person makes mistakes in their life; no one is perfect. If you understand and accept your mistakes, it doesn't make you small. Even I am learning from my own life and mistakes. I will always try not to repeat them, and I am growing as a person and as an actor."
Aamir surprised fans on his 60th birthday last year by introducing his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, to the public. He revealed that they have known each other for 25 years. In an earlier interview, Aamir spoke about his marriage plans and said he already feels like he is married to Gauri.
Aamir was first married to Reena Dutta, whom he tied the knot with in 1986. He has two children with her: Ira Khan and Junaid Khan. The couple divorced in 2002. Later, he married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and in 2021, they announced their separation. They also have a son, Azad, who was born through surrogacy. Aamir shares a good bond with both his ex-wives.
On the work front, he is busy promoting Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi's Ek Din, which he is producing. Apart from this, he confirmed a sequel to 3 Idiots with Rajkumar Hirani. Reports are also rife that he will be part of an Ashneer Grover biopic, with Shraddha Kapoor and Rahul Mody attached to the project.
