Actress Hansika Motwani took a trip to Amritsar and visited the Golden Temple. She shared cheerful pictures of herself posing at the temple on social media and spoke about finding peace while sharing the moments. Her visit to Amritsar comes days after her divorce from Sohael Khaturiya was granted.
Hansika Motwani was seen dressed in a pink salwar as she paid a visit to the spiritual destination. The actress was accompanied by her mother. Sharing the pictures, she wrote in the caption, "Held by Him, always. Waheguru di meher naal."
On Thursday, March 12, Hansika took to Instagram Stories to share a short note on positivity and resilience.
She wrote, "Chardi Kala always." The short but powerful Punjabi phrase refers to staying optimistic and resilient in the face of adversity, maintaining high spirits despite life's challenges. While the actress did not mention her divorce, many interpreted the message as a reflection of her mindset following the end of her marriage.
So far, neither Hansika nor Sohael has publicly addressed their separation.
Hansika Motwani and her businessman husband Sohael Khaturiya have officially parted ways. The couple was granted a divorce by the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai after filing for separation by mutual consent, with the actress choosing to forgo alimony.
Meanwhile, their wedding documentary, Hansika's Love Shaadi Drama, continues to stream on JioHotstar.
During the proceedings, Motwani was represented by advocate Adnan Shaikh, who stated that the couple lived together only briefly after their marriage. Over time, they realised that differences in temperament, opinions, and lifestyles were causing frequent disagreements.
According to the plea filed before the court, the two often argued over minor matters, which eventually made it difficult for them to continue living together. The couple ultimately decided to separate amicably.
Reports about their separation have been circulating since July 2025. A report in HT City stated, "Hansika has moved in with her mother, while Sohael is staying with his parents." She had also shared a cryptic birthday note, describing the year as emotionally challenging and full of life lessons.
