Alia Bhatt was mobbed at the airport

Zeeshan reportedly worked with Alia when she was shooting for SOTY and for three to four years around the same time. Zeeshan recalled when he was travelling with Alia to a foreign location, and during one of their travels, the actress was mobbed by the airport staff and customs officers.

During a recent interview with SCREEN, Zeeshan recalled a 2014 incident when Alia was mobbed by the airport staff. While they were travelling abroad with the entire SOTY team, he shared that the actress stepped aside to stand in a corner after clearing immigration. He added that when customs officers and airport staff noticed that the actress was without a bodyguard, staff, or a manager, they mobbed her and asked for selfies.

The bodyguard revealed that everyone clung to her together. Zeeshan shared, "Vo bechari ekdum haath aur per close karke khadi hai, dari hui (Poor thing stood there, all scared and uncomfortable)." Once his immigration was cleared, he ran to Alia and asked the officers to step aside.

He further added, "All of them were educated people, but usko daba ke khade the, gale mein aur kandhe par haath rakhne ki koshish kar rahe the (they were trying to click pictures with hands on her shoulder)." Zeeshan then rebuked them by saying that they should maintain distance if a girl is standing alone.
