Ananya Panday was seen making the most of her London outing over the past few days. After attending the Paris Fashion Week, the actress was seen turning heads at the All England Club on July 10 for the Wimbledon men's singles semi-finals, in a scarlet Ralph Lauren Marigot Cotton-Blend Poplin midi dress. Now, Ananya has shared glimpses from her outing to Hyde Park for Pitbull's BST Hyde Park concert.
Giving fans a glimpse into the record-setting evening, Ananya Panday dropped a series of photos and videos from the concert on Instagram. Alongside the pictures, she wrote, "Ooooooh I want the time of my liiiiifeeee, and we broke a Guinness Book of World Records (swipe to see) and made HISTORY love u pitbull."
Before sharing the photo carousel from the concert, the actress had shared a lively video from the fan pit. She was spotted singing and dancing alongside thousands of concertgoers as the pop singer performed his hit 2011 track Rain Over Me.
For the concert, Ananya chose a casual yet stylish look, wearing a dark-toned button-down top paired with comfortable, loose-fitting bottoms. Ananya ditched the bald cap for the record attempt and kept her signature hairstyle intact in a centre-parted hair secured with a printed bandana. For the accessories, she kept it minimal with stacked diamond earrings and a delicate bracelet. Her makeup looked fresh with soft flushed cheeks and nude lips.
Pitbull, fondly known as Mr Worldwide history during the concert at Hyde Park, wherein 22,141 fans showed up all sporting bald caps, along with his black suits and aviator sunglasses as tribute to his signature look. The gathering set the Guinness World Record for the largest assemblage of people wearing bald caps.
Earlier, the record was of just 2,000 people. The record attempt was interestingly initiated by BBC Radio 1 host Greg James and content creator Jack Remmington, who pitched the viral idea directly to the rapper.
Pitbull accepted the award in an all-black suit, himself wearing the latex bald cap over his bald head, and said, "I'm speechless. Who would have thought a first-generation Cuban would be record-breaking and record-making?"
