Arjun Kapoor's sister, Anshula Kapoor, is all set to marry her longtime boyfriend, Rohan Thakkar, on July 6. The couple, who got engaged last year, have kickstarted their pre-wedding rituals in the presence of friends and family members. On July 4, Anshula Kapoor's mehendi and kaleera ceremony took place, and glimpses of the celebrations are all over the internet.
Internet sensation Orry took to social media and shared pictures with the bride-to-be, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor. In the pictures, Anshula looked radiant in a pastel green Chanderi suit. Arjun Kapoor twinned with his sister by wearing a green kurta paired with white pants. He was seen smiling throughout the celebrations and even posed holding Anshula's kaleeras with Orry.
In Punjabi weddings, if the bride's kaleera falls on an unmarried guest, that person is believed to be the next one to get married. With these pictures, is Arjun Kapoor hinting at something? Khushi Kapoor opted for a stylish blue organza salwar suit for the occasion, while Janhvi chose a dusty pink outfit.
Apart from the kaleera ceremony, Anshula's mehendi ceremony also took place, and she looked drop-dead gorgeous in a teal-blue Patola lehenga. Sonam Kapoor shared a fun-filled video, giving a glimpse of the festive celebrations. However, the highlight of the evening was Rohan Thakkar's surprise entry, which left his ladylove surprised and emotional.
Anshula and Rohan reportedly met through a dating app and gradually developed a close bond. Their relationship became public after they began sharing glimpses of their time together on social media. Rohan and Anshula got engaged last year after the former went down on one knee and proposed to his ladylove at Central Park in New York. The couple's engagement was later marked by a traditional Gor Dhana ceremony, a Gujarati pre-wedding ritual.
Anshula and Rohan's wedding festivities commenced on a spiritual note with a traditional Mata Ki Chowki attended by close family and friends. The ceremony saw members of the Kapoor family, including Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, and Sunita Kapoor.
On the work front, Anshula Kapoor was last seen on Karan Johar-hosted The Traitors.
