Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar have tied the knot in a traditional ceremony on Monday, July 6. The couple's wedding ceremony took place at the Taj Lands End hotel in Mumbai in the presence of close family and friends. First videos from the star-studded wedding of are now going viral online.
Anshula took to Instagram to share dreamy pictures from the traditional ceremony. "06.07.2026 Of all the people. Of all the places. Of all the timing. It was you. And somehow, through every twist, detour, and surprise, it is still you. My favourite conversation. My safest place. My easiest choice. Always you rohanthakkar1511," she wrote.
In one of the videos from the wedding that surfaced on the internet, Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar are seen signing the official document, registering their marriage in the mandap, while her siblings, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, stand beside her. In the second video, the couple is seen partaking in the traditional saat phere ritual.
Anshula is seen in a pink lehenga for her wedding, while Rohan complemented her in an ivory sherwani. Arjun, meanwhile, is seen dressed in red ethnic wear for his sister's big day.
A third video shows the uncle, actor Anil Kapoor, interacting with guests at the venue. Other family members, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Boney Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor were also seen in attendance at the wedding festivities of Anshula.
According to an India Today report, Arjun Kapoor personally requested all media and paparazzi not to crowd the wedding venue, since it was strictly a family affair. Anshula and Rohan's wedding reception will be held on Tuesday, July 7, which will be attended by industry friends and colleagues.
Anshula and Rohan got engaged in July 2025. Anshula had shared pictures from her dreamy proposal and revealed how their relationship began. "We started talking on a Tuesday at 1.15 am and ended up talking for hours. Three years later, in my favourite city, in front of the castle in Central Park, he proposed!" she wrote.
She added that Rohan proposed to her at the exact time they first spoke, which made it feel "like magic (sic)". The couple seemingly met on a dating app in 2022. Anshula further shared that while she never believed in fairytales, the proposal felt "intentional, thoughtful, real, us," adding "I said yes. Through ugly tears, shaky laughs, and the kind of happiness I can't put into words (sic)."
Anshula is the daughter of Boney Kapoor and his first wife Mona Shourie Kapoor.
