Actor Arshad Warsi has recalled how he accidentally went live on social media without even realizing it.

Speaking exclusively to IANS, he said that he is not good with technology at all. Warsi also recalled how, once, he accidentally went live while his phone was in his pocket. When asked about being "technologically challenged," the 'Munna Bhai MBBS' actor admitted that he is not very comfortable with technology and often struggles to keep up with it.

The actor was further asked what real-life challenges he has faced with technology and whether he still finds it difficult to understand and keep up with modern tech.

Reflecting on his struggles with technology, Arshad Warsi said, "Yes, I am fully challenged. I am not good with technology at all. I am not at all good with it. I am not even good at handling my Instagram. Once, by mistake, I was live. I didn't even know the phone was in my pocket, and I was live. I was walking around London, they could hear my conversation. My daughter was calling me. My manager was calling me. They were saying, "Get off, you are live" I didn't even know what they were talking about. I said, "What live?" I am really bad at it. I ask my kids how to do this, how to do that."

The 'Hulchul' actor added, "I will be honest. I do not want to get so good at it that I am on it all the time. I would like to switch to a button keypad phone and not a smartphone. I would like to do that. In one of my interviews, I said it should become mandatory that one day a week there should be no internet. Absolutely no internet. People should just have nothing like that and chat with each other and do normal things."

Arshad also mentioned that he feels the UAE and Gulf countries have done a good thing by restricting social media use for younger users.

Work-wise, the actor is gearing up for the release of his show "Pritam and Pedro." Created, co-written, edited, and produced by Rajkumar Hirani, the series is directed by Avinash Arun. The web series also stars Vir Hirani, Vikrant Massey, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. "Pritam and Pedro is scheduled to premiere on July 3, 2026.
