Ayushmann miffed with his talent company?

After we reported how Sushant Singh Rajput recently landed an endorsement deal for a fairness cream in ‘So un-fair!', now it's Ayushmann Khurrana's turn to cry foul. According to insiders, Ayushmann had apparently lost the deal to Sushant. However, we now learn that it was in fact Yash Raj Films that turned the scales in Sushant's favour. And Ayushmann apparently is seething with anger at the studio's talent management section.

A source says, "Both the actor had been signed by the production house for a three-film contract. And their talent management wing also takes care of their endorsement opportunities. When the fairness cream's ad was offered to them meant for Ayushmann, they suggested the brand hire Sushant." The alleged patronising attitude of the production house has apparently managed to rub Ayushmann the wrong way. They apparently thought the other actor needed more exposure and hence would benefit from the ad.

While Ayushmann remained unavailable for comment, Ashish Patil, head of the talent management section, says, "We are not at liberty to talk about this particular deal at the moment. Finally, it's a brand's prerogative on which artiste they pick. We are extremely fair with all our partners, and of course, with our artistes. Within them, rest assured, there is little or no insecurity. About Ayushmann, watch out for a couple of very exciting announcements within the next month." We wonder what the actor will say to that.
