'Chashme Buddoor' actor to showcase his comic sense for the first time in Bollywood

Siddharth who was much appreciated for his intense performance in Rang De Basanti is back on the block with yet another Hindi flick. However, this time around, he's part of a comic caper for a change. And the actor is more than just thrilled.u00a0

The 33-year-old, who had been lately busy with South film assignments, was last seen in Deepa Mehta's Midnight's Children. After being part of such ‘strong' roles, Siddharth is all set to showcase a different side in David Dhawan's Chashme Baddoor.

"Comedy is usually a very technical and serious business and I enjoyed attempting it. Fortunately, David's film is bound to have a lot of impromptu comedy. He's an easy person to be around and he gives you the space to develop your own rhythm on the sets," says the actor-producer.

"I laughed so much during the making. I left the shoot feeling energised and younger. My goal was to make David laugh and when that happened, I considered my job well done," sums up Sid. u00a0
