Chatter in Chennai is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is likely to team up with Ajith in his next, a comedy thriller, tentatively titled AK62. Apparently, she has loved the script and her character, but will sign on the dotted line after the logistics are finalised. Insiders claim that the comedy thriller, helmed by Vignesh Shivan, will have two leading ladies. Reportedly, Trisha Krishnan is on board, marking her fifth collaboration with Ajith, after Ji (2005), Kireedam (2007), Mankatha (2011) and Yennai Arindhaal (2015). Ash and Trisha have also shared screen space in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan, the second part of which releases on April 28. Expectedly, they both have crucial parts in AK62.

Sensitivity needed

On Tuesday, the Delhi High Court asked Hansal Mehta and producers of his upcoming film, Faraaz, to sit with the mothers of two victims of the 2016 Dhaka terror attack who moved court against them, and resolve their disputes. The Division Bench of Justices Siddharth Mridul and Talwant Singh said, "If you are naming the movie Faraaz, then you should know what Ahmed Faraaz stood for." Senior advocate Akhil Sibal, who represented the mothers of the girls who died in the 2016 Dhaka terror attack, argued that the filmmakers have approached it with insensitivity. Advocate Shyel Trehan, who appeared for the respondents, said that they are open to sitting with the petitioners to find a solution. The matter will now be heard on January 24.

Sonu comes to the rescue

Sonu Sood turned a real-life saviour at the Dubai airport recently. While he was clearing immigration, a middle-aged man at a nearby counter suddenly fell unconscious. Even as the staff and those around were calling for medical assistance, the actor stepped in to help. He apparently cushioned the person's head and started CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). Fortunately, within minutes, the man regained consciousness, leading the officials and passengers to appreciate Sonu for his quick thinking. The man, too, expressed his gratitude to the actor.
