The Drishyam franchise is set to continue with a fourth instalment, with producer Antony Perumbavoor confirming Drishyam 4 at the Mazhavil Manorama Awards. He assured fans that another chapter is certain. The news follows the success of Mohanlal's Drishyam 3. The Malayalam blockbuster finished its theatrical run with a lifetime worldwide gross of approximately Rs 237.60 crore. Director Jeethu Joseph has also been urged to develop the next story, with Georgekutty expected to return.
Ajay Devgn's âDrishyam 3':
The Hindi franchise is also gearing up for its next chapter. Ajay Devgn will reprise Vijay Salgaonkar in âDrishyam 3', directed by Abhishek Pathak, which is set to release in cinemas on October 2
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has kicked off Tumbbad 2's next shooting schedule in Maharashtra. The actor recently toured the US with his daughter Shora for their stage play Naqaab, before returning to the sets. The first schedule was completed in June. A source tells mid-day, "Nawazuddin has now started shooting for the next schedule in Satara." The sequel, directed by Adesh Prasad, is slated for release in December 2027.
Alia Bhatt officially joined âTumbbad 2' in July, with Sohum Shah welcoming her as "a new chapter" for the franchise. She has reportedly begun shooting and is expected to have a pivotal role, with an earlier report pegging her schedule at around 20 days
