Nag Ashwin has revealed that only a few days of shoot has been completed for the sequel to ‘Kalki 2898 AD' (2024), with the next schedule dependent on Prabhas's availability. "Not much. We shot for only about 10 days. Once Prabhas garu is free, we will shoot over a long stretch," he said at an event in Hyderabad. Earlier this year, megastar Amitabh Bachchan had shared a few pictures with Kamal Haasan from the sets of ‘Kalki 2' (the sequel's working title) in Ramoji Film City, Telangana.

Watch ‘Pakeezah' in 4K

Kamal Amrohi's Pakeezah (1972) is heading to the global stage, with Film Heritage Foundation's (FHF) 4K restoration set to première at Festival Lumière in Lyon, followed by a gala screening at the London Film Festival. FHF director Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, who spearheaded the two-year restoration, calls it a "long-held dream". Recalling his first viewing of the classic, he said, "Pakeezah is a film that has been etched in my memory since I was a child."

Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn has begun filming his yet-untitled horror thriller, which went on floors on Wednesday. Directed by Rohit Jugraj, the project marks another collaboration between Devgn Films and Panorama Studios after Drishyam 2 (2022), Shaitaan (2024) and Raid 2 (2025). Sharing a picture from the mahurat, Ajay wrote, "Darr ka mahaul hone wala hai." The film promises a world of mystery, fear and suspense. On the work front, besides Drishyam 3, due in October, Ajay also has Golmaal 5, Ranger, Chauhaan, and Shaitaan 2 in the pipeline.
