AI-generated celebrity videos are getting increasingly convincing, and Jamie Lever has now found herself at the centre of one such bizarre rumour. The comedian and actor recently addressed viral AI-generated clips claiming that she had tied the knot with Yashvardhan Ahuja, son of actor Govinda, making it clear that the wedding videos doing the rounds on social media are completely fake.

Jamie Lever's AI wedding

Jamie initially saw the funny side of the situation. In a video addressing the rumours, she revealed that she and her cousins were sending the clips to one another and laughing at the creativity behind them. But the joke took a different turn when people began believing the videos and calling her to offer their congratulations.

"I know that a lot of people are concerned about my wedding. They are wondering if it is happening and when it is happening," Jamie said, explaining that the AI videos had now reached a point where she was receiving "a lot of calls from people congratulating" her.

While clarifying that the videos were fake, Jamie did not let go of her trademark humour. She joked that the fake wedding had started affecting her real-life marriage prospects.

"The genuine marriage proposals that were coming my way have also stopped coming. So please don't do this," she said.

Jamie even praised the makers of the AI clips for their imagination, admitting that the videos showing her dressed as a bride were rather convincing. "The AI videos people have made are very creative. Me in bridal attire, in a wedding outfit and all that, it's quite creative," she said.

But she had one request for the creators, enough views have been earned; now it is time to take the videos down. "You've got enough views now, right? So you can remove those videos now because you've already got the views," she quipped.

Jamie Lever says Yashvardhan Ahuja is my brother

Although Jamie did not take Yashvardhan Ahuja's name, she cleared up their equation in no uncertain terms. Referring to the person she was falsely linked with, she said, "He is my brother. He is much younger than me."

She also revealed that the two are working together on a film and urged people not to create unnecessary videos around them. "So please don't make unnecessary videos. It's really bad," she added.

For those eagerly waiting for wedding bells, Jamie had a final message, "For those who were getting happy about my marriage, I'm sorry, there is still more time. You'll have to wait for the real news to come out."

Meanwhile, Yashvardhan is preparing for his acting debut with Hero Ki Horoine. The film, which also stars Nitanshi Goel, Sunita Ahuja, Jamie Lever, Chunky Pandey, Brijendra Kala and Simrat Kaur Randhawa, will mark Sajid Khan's return to directing after a hiatus.

As for the wedding? Jamie has made it clear that this one was generated by AI, not reality.
