Karisma Kapoor and her children, Samaira and Kiaan, joined the Pataudi family for Christmas celebrations this year. Kareena Kapoor, who is their aunt, took to Instagram Stories to share glimpses of the festive moments. The children paid a heartfelt tribute to their late father, Sunjay Kapur, by wearing jerseys from his polo club.
On Thursday, Kareena shared a picture of a Christmas tree adorned with an ornament that read, "Christmas at the Pataudis." She also posted another picture of Samaira and Kiaan, captioning it, "My Christmas Angels" with heart and rainbow emojis.
In the photo, Sunjay and Karisma's children are seen with their backs facing the camera, wearing matching jerseys with "Aureus Polo" written on them. Sunjay Kapur was the founder and captain of the Aureus Polo team, which went on to win championships in India, the US, and the UK.
Earlier in the week, Kareena shared a picture of her sister Karisma Kapoor posing with Saif Ali Khan, with âsarson ke khet' in the backdrop. Karisma in the picture is seen smiling in a cosy casual look, standing in a scenic mustard field, posing with Saif Ali Khan. The picture takes us down memory lane considering Karisma and Saif had worked together in the hit movie Hum Saath Saath Hain that was released in 1999.
Sharing the moment, Kareena used the instrumental version of the iconic Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge track. For the caption for the photo featuring Karisma and Saif, she wrote, "The OGs in the sarson ke khet".
Sunjay Kapur passed away on June 12, 2025, after collapsing while playing polo in London. His last rites were held on June 19 at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in South Delhi, in the presence of close family members and friends.
The industrialist was the chairman of Sona Comstar and was previously married to , with whom he had two children, Samaira and Kiaan. Following their divorce in 2016, Sunjay married Priya Kapur, and the couple had a son, Azarias. Priya also has a daughter, Safira, from her earlier marriage to hotelier Vikram Chatwal.
Legal proceedings concerning Sunjay Kapur's multibillion-dollar assets are currently underway between his children from both marriages. On Wednesday, the Delhi High Court concluded hearings in the civil suit related to his personal estate and reserved its order on the interim injunction plea filed by his children with Karisma Kapoor, noting that all parties had submitted their written arguments.
