Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are currently in the news as they are reportedly set to tie the knot. Their secret wedding is all set to take place in Udaipur on February 26. While they recently landed in Mumbai, sparking buzz, more details about the wedding have surfaced. As per reports, the couple has opted for a no-phone policy at the wedding and will be taking a month-long break after the festivities.
As per reports in India Today, their wedding will be an intimate affair with only family, relatives, and immediate friends in attendance. The celebrations will commence on February 24 and conclude with the ceremony on February 26. No actors or industry colleagues have been invited. The source revealed, "It's a very small guest list. No phones will be allowed. Even the team capturing the wedding has signed NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements)."
According to the source, they have also intentionally carved out time for themselves after the ceremony. "Both Vijay and Rashmika have taken a month off after the wedding," the insider said. Two pre-wedding celebrations have already been held separately: one hosted by Rashmika's maternal relatives at her home, and another organised by Vijay's family. Apart from this, Vijay and Rashmika have personally written handwritten notes to friends, asking only for their blessings and requesting no gifts.
After the wedding, the couple plans to host a grand reception on March 4 at Taj Krishna, Hyderabad. The reception is reportedly intended for industry colleagues. A wedding invite, rumoured to belong to Rashmika and Vijay, circulated on social media.
Rashmika and Vijay have been rumoured to be dating since their first on-screen pairing in the 2018 hit Geetha Govindam, followed by Dear Comrade in 2019. Over the years, they have often been spotted together at events and on vacations. In August, the duo led the 43rd India Day Parade in New York and attended the Bharat Beyond Borders event. Fans have long speculated about their relationship, especially after noticing that both actors frequently post photos from the same holiday destinations.
On the work front, Vijay and Rashmika are all set to mark their third collaboration with Rana Baali. The first look of the period drama was unveiled a few days back. Apart from this, Vijay has Rowdy Janardhana in his kitty, while Rashmika recently wrapped up Cocktail 2's shoot. She is also rumoured to be a part of Allu Arjun and Atlee's mega-budget actioner.
