Deepika Padukone has reportedly wrapped filming for Raaka and is now taking some time off ahead of the arrival of her second child with husband Ranveer Singh. The actress was spotted at Mumbai airport on Saturday as she headed to Bengaluru, with their daughter Dua accompanying her.
Deepika, who continued shooting for the Allu Arjun-starrer even during the later stages of her pregnancy, is now expected to spend time with her family before welcoming her baby in September.
The actress has been juggling work and motherhood while shooting for Raaka, her upcoming collaboration with Allu Arjun. Despite being in her eighth month of pregnancy, Deepika reportedly continued filming for the project in Mumbai.
Her recent airport appearance, however, marks a change in pace. According to an update, the actress has completed her portions for Raaka and travelled to Bengaluru to spend time with her family ahead of her delivery.
Deepika was accompanied by little Dua on the trip, while Ranveer came to the airport to see his wife and daughter off. The couple has largely kept their daughter away from the public eye since welcoming her in September 2024.
At the airport, Deepika opted for comfort, stepping out in an oversized blue shirt paired with loose-fitting jeans and white sneakers. She completed the casual maternity look with sunglasses and a tote bag.
While photographers called out to her and requested pictures, the actress chose not to stop and proceeded towards the terminal.
Deepika and Ranveer announced that they were expecting their second child in April. The couple shared the news through a joint social media post, revealing that their family was set to grow once again.
The couple tied the knot in November 2018 in intimate Konkani and Sindhi ceremonies at Lake Como, Italy. Nearly six years later, they welcomed their first child, daughter Dua, on September 8, 2024.
Since becoming parents, Deepika and Ranveer have been careful about keeping Dua away from the spotlight. They eventually revealed her face during Diwali celebrations in 2025, sending social media into a frenzy.
Now, with Deepika having reportedly completed her work on Raaka, the actress appears to be entering the final stretch before becoming a mother for the second time.
Meanwhile, Raaka continues to be one of the highly anticipated upcoming projects, with Deepika sharing screen space with Allu Arjun. The film's details are being closely guarded, adding to the curiosity surrounding the project.
