Aamir Khan to lead Race 4? Producer Ramesh Taurani breaks silence on casting

Race 4 recently made headlines once again due to fresh casting speculations surfacing on the internet. This time around, reports claimed that Aamir Khan could possibly lead the fourth instalment of the popular action franchise. However, producer Ramesh Taurani has reacted to the rumours, settling the dust on all speculations. He further clarified that no casting decisions have been finalised yet.

Ramesh Taurani reacts to Race 4 casting

Producer Ramesh Taurani and Tips Films Official shared a joint statement on Instagram, in which they addressed the Race 4 casting reports. The producer dismissed reports suggesting that Aamir Khan has been finalised as the lead for Race 4. He also clarified that the casting process for the upcoming film is still underway.

Additionally, Taurani, who was caught in a legal tussle with Vashu Bhagnani, urged the media and social media pages to abstain from circulating unverified information. The statement read, "We would like to clarify that the cast of Race 4 has not yet been finalised. We sincerely request the media and social media pages to refrain from speculation and from engaging with or circulating any unverified or false news regarding the cast. Once the cast is finalised, we will make an official announcement from our end (sic)."

Notably, the clarification from the producer comes after recent reports suggested that Aamir had heard the script for the film and given his approval to join the project.

Earlier statement from Ramesh Taurani

Notably, this is not the first time reports about Race 4 casting have surfaced, and Ramesh Taurani has clarified the same. Back in April 2025, the producer issued an official statement to the press saying that only two actors had been approached for Race 4.

The statement read, "We would like to clarify that we are currently in discussions only with Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra for the next instalment of the Race franchise (Race 4), which is currently in its scripting phase. No other male or female actors have been approached at this stage. We sincerely request the media and social media pages to avoid engaging with false news and to wait for an official confirmation from our PR team."

Meanwhile, there have been media reports in the past suggesting actresses like Sharvari, Manushi Chhillar, and Rakul Preet Singh have been signed for the film. However, nothing has been officially announced so far.
