Apart from acting, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have ventured into production with their banner KAMPA Films. Their maiden venture, Toaster, was well received by audiences for its quirky content. They are now coming up with the gritty tale Raftaar. Earlier, it was scheduled to arrive on OTT in July. Now, the horizons have expanded as Raftaar will have a theatrical release during the Dussehra weekend.
Rajkummar Rao's highly anticipated theatrical film Raftaar, an Amazon MGM Studios Original, is racing full-throttle towards a special theatrical premiere on October 16, promising full entertainment during the extended Dussehra weekend.
Directed by Aditya Nimbalkar and produced by Patralekhaa under the banner of KAMPA Films, Raftaar has been executive produced by Tarun Bali, with story and screenplay by Rohan Narula. PVR INOX Pictures is the official distributor of the film. The movie marks the beginning of Rajkummar and Patralekhaa's entrepreneurial journey as producers. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles, the film features a talented ensemble cast including Anurag Thakur, Rohan Verma, Tanya Maniktala and Rajat Kapoor in pivotal roles.
