Iqra was born on 21 October 2010 to Sanjay Dutt and Maanayata. She also has a twin brother named Shahraan Dutt. Although the 15-year-old has mostly stayed away from the spotlight, it seems like her recent papped video has dragged her into the public eye.

Iqra is currently pursuing her schooling and attends an international school in Mumbai. According to some reports, she has a creative inclination and is reportedly interested in the arts, including dance and music.

Nargis Dutt is regarded as one of the greatest actresses in the history of Hindi cinema. She married actor and politician Sunil Dutt and had three children. She died in May 1981 following a battle with cancer at the age of just 51.
