Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are gearing up to welcome their second child, and amid the excitement, an old behind-the-scenes video of the actor has resurfaced on social media. The clip, originally shot during a commercial campaign earlier this year, has gone viral after fans connected Ranveer's humorous remark to the couple's recent pregnancy announcement.
The video was shared by actor Deeksha Narang, who revealed it was filmed during a SuperYou and Starbucks campaign in April 2026. Recalling the shoot, she said the director had asked everyone to "be natural" and she decided to strike up a conversation with Ranveer when filming paused because of a technical issue with the coffee blender.
Describing the interaction as a memorable experience, Deeksha shared that she joked about there being "chemistry for coffee," while Ranveer playfully interpreted it as "chemistry of love."
In the now-viral clip, Ranveer Singh pauses before responding with his trademark humour. Smiling at Deeksha, he says, "You're flirting so much. I'm about to become a father of two, man," leaving everyone on the set laughing. The light-hearted exchange has since been widely shared across social media, with many fans calling the actor's reaction wholesome.
Following the couple's announcement that they are expecting their second child, the video has found renewed attention online. Fans flooded the comments section with laughing emojis and heart reactions, while many praised Ranveer's quick wit and playful personality. Others pointed out how the comment, made months ago, now feels especially meaningful in hindsight.
Ranveer and Deepika welcomed their daughter, Dua, on September 8, 2024. The couple recently announced that they are expecting their second child, prompting congratulatory messages from fans and members of the film industry.
On the professional front, Ranveer has been enjoying a successful run at the box office. Following the success of Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the actor is now gearing up for his next film, Pralay. The zombie thriller is directed by Jai Mehta and backed by Hansal Mehta's True Story Films along with Ranveer Singh's Ma Kasam Films. Kalyani Priyadarshan stars opposite him in the upcoming project, which is currently under production.
