Shah Rukh Khan may not frequently host Ask Me Anything sessions on X, but when he does, fans get to see his candid and witty side. On September 15, 2026, the Bollywood superstar interacted with his fans on X, confirming the release date of his much-awaited film King. SRK kept the session entertaining with his trademark charm and humour while answering all the questions. However, one unusual question surprised him when a fan asked him to star opposite a Russian actress in an adventure film.

The fan wrote, "Bhau @iamsrk russian actress k sath adventure movie karo na #AskSRK #king." Clearly dumbfounded by the unexpected request, Shah Rukh responded, "Really!! Yeh request toh pehli baar suni hai...' The actor's candid response left the unexpected suggestion on a fun note, as fans continued to interact with him during the AskSRK session.

During the session, SRK also confirmed that King is not getting postponed and will release in cinemas as scheduled, i.e on December 24, 2026. Asking for an update on the film, a fan wrote, "Sir KING ka kuch update do….3 saal pehle last movie dekhi thi aapki theatres mein…aur kitna tarsao ge ek trailer ke liye hi?"

To this, the actor responded, "Ab picture hi dekho na! Tarsa nahi raha, join acchhi wali bana raha hoon….ke Dil ko tasalli mile….Sab ayega…24th Dec se pehle."

Shah Rukh Khan was injured during the shoot

Responding to another user's question, the actor also revealed that he had sustained multiple injuries during the filming of King, due to which the schedule was affected for some time. "Had a few injuries while shooting, so had to start-stop many times but now all broken is fixed…and nearly all done…so all good," he wrote.
