BTS member Jimin surprised fans this Christmas by totally deleting his Instagram account and returning with a cheerful holiday-themed photo dump, which many are calling a symbolic fresh beginning. The surprising change drove ARMYs into a frenzy when they discovered Jimin's once-packed profile had abruptly gone blank on Christmas Eve. He did, however, provide another cause for BTS ARMYs to be joyful.

Jimin started his personal Instagram account in December 2021, along with the rest of the gang, and he had over 100 posts live until the unexpected wipe. The sudden deletion of all of his content raised alarm and curiosity among followers, with many asking what could have caused such a radical change.

However, Jimin quickly assuaged supporters' concerns. The musician took to Weverse to personally address the problem and explain why he reset his Instagram account. He wrote: "I finally opened Instagram, I changed the password 8 times. Anyway, I wanted to try starting fresh from the beginning, so I deleted everything ARMY, are you having a good Christmas? The posts showed Jimin's upbeat personality and personal touch, and they quickly went viral among followers all around the world.
