As BTS' performance in Sao Paulo, Brazil, recently left the ARMY impressed, one incident from the concert involving Jungkook has found its way on the internet and is since going viral. The singer faced a ripped-pants mishap mid-performance, a moment which has now become viral after clips showing him noticing the tear have surfaced. Fans were sent into a frenzy especially after some wondered if it was his existing leg and back issues made dancing uncomfortable. As the clip surfaced, the internet turned the wardrobe malfunction into a full-blown meme fest.
Jungkook's clips from the Sao Paulo concert have been circulating among fans. They show the singer noticing that his trousers have torn from the centre. Other clips also show him pointing out the damage to fellow BTS members, RM and Kim Taehyung (V), who enjoyed a good laugh at his situation.
Nevertheless, Jungkook continued with the show and refused to let a wardrobe malfunction steal his spotlight or interrupt the dance. The clips sparked conversations, with ARMY zooming in on his reactions.
Meanwhile, many found Jungkook's latest wardrobe malfunction strangely familiar as longtime fans pointed out this wasn't the first time he faced such a mishap. He has experienced similar clothing mishaps on stage before.
During BTS' Love Yourself: Speak Yourself - The Final concerts in Seoul back in October 2019, Jungkook had revealed that his trousers had similarly been ripped while he was performing MIC Drop. He shared that he had noticed something was wrong when he sensed a sudden "breeze" while waiting backstage. Eventually, the singer told ARMY about the mishap. He further joked that he had worked so hard that his trousers had torn apart, adding that everyone was family.
Similarly, during a performance of Fake Love in 2018, BTS leader RM pulled Jungkook's shirt open accidentally as part of the choreography. While Jungkook tried to deal with the unbuttoned shirt, he seemingly had little time to fix it before the performance continued. The members had later teased Jumkook about it, revisiting the moment during a livestream.
