It's no news that Korean boy band BTS is gearing up for one of the most anticipated comebacks in K-pop history. Ever since the boys were relieved from their military services and announced their comeback album, fans, known as ARMY, have been over the moon. And now, leader RM, whose real name is Kim Namjoon, has seemingly confirmed that the group's much-awaited return is expected to take place at the end of March 2026.
During a recent interaction with a reporter on a red carpet, RM, V, and J-Hope were asked about their plans for the end of the year. RM slyly responded with a smile, saying, "We're still preparing the album and filming the music video." His statement already got fans excited, but what he said next was the real surprise.
Enjoying their banter as always, J-Hope playfully asked RM, "Do you want to practice dancing?" To this, RM answered, "I'm practising dancing," and then broke into a small groove himself. He laughed and added, "Actually, I'll start tomorrow!"
It was then that RM casually dropped a major hint, saying, "Anyway, please look forward to it at the end of March next year!" His statement immediately sent fans into a frenzy, since it strongly hints that BTS's comeback album, and reportedly their world tour, which could kick off around March 2026.
RM revelation matches with what BTS had previously announced during their surprise live session in July 2025. All seven members, namely RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, appeared together to greet fans after three long years. During the stream, they announced their comeback album and revealed that the album would arrive in the first half of 2026. During the live, RM also confirmed that all members would begin preparations starting in July 2025. Ever since the boys have been working on their album in the USA.
To add to the excitement, BTS also teased plans for a world tour in spring 2026, marking their first full-group tour in years. The BTS comeback holds special emotional significance for the ARMYs across the world, as it will be the group's first major project together since their military enlistments.
