BTS member Jungkook has spoken out against fans invading his personal space, urging them to show "basic manners" after an uncomfortable encounter during a recent outing. The singer addressed the incident during a Weverse live broadcast, making it clear that while he enjoys meeting ARMY, there is a line that should not be crossed.

Jungkook asks fans to respect personal boundaries

Recounting the incident, Jungkook revealed that he had gone alone to watch the film Hope. On his way back, he met a few fans who politely asked to take pictures with him. The K-pop star happily obliged, saying he had no issue interacting with fans when they approached him respectfully.

However, things took an uncomfortable turn when he stopped at a bakery to buy some bread. According to Jungkook, one person suddenly shoved a camera directly into his face without asking for permission, leaving him upset.

"Taking pictures together isn't a problem," Jungkook explained. "But I went in to get some bread and there was someone who shoved a camera in my face. That's not good manners."

He further stressed that respect has nothing to do with age or nationality, adding, "Whatever your age may be or wherever you're from, it doesn't matter. Right in front of my eyes like that... I don't think that's polite."

Jungkook requests fans to seek permission

Jungkook emphasized that he genuinely appreciates fans who greet him politely and ask before taking photos. He said he enjoys meeting people who support him but hopes everyone remembers that he is entitled to personal space while carrying out everyday activities.

His remarks quickly went viral across social media, with fans expressing both anger and disappointment over the incident. Many pointed out that Jungkook has repeatedly asked to be treated like a normal person despite being one of the world's biggest pop stars. Others urged fellow fans to respect celebrities' boundaries and avoid invasive behavior.

Several fans praised the singer for calmly addressing the issue instead of staying silent. One fan wrote that they respected Jungkook for "never failing to call out disrespect and invasion to his privacy," while another said it was upsetting that he still had to remind people to show "basic respect."

The incident has once again sparked conversations about fan etiquette and celebrity privacy. While Jungkook reiterated that he loves interacting with ARMY and values their support, he made it clear that admiration should never come at the cost of basic courtesy and personal boundaries.
