Abdu Rozik
According to reports, Tajikistani artist and social media star Abdu Rozik was detained at Dubai International Airport on Saturday on suspicion of theft. But in a statement, the Bigg Boss 16 contestant's team denied the arrest and clarified that he was only briefly held. While attending an award ceremony in Dubai, Rozik subtly addressed the rumours on the red carpet by telling everyone that everything was alright.
Abdu took to his Instagram handle, sharing posts from the award ceremony he attended, and shared details on the recent arrest controversy. He said, "I want to say to everyone, I love Dubai, and I am here with all of you. God is always with the right person. I am fine; everything is good. Lots of love and thank you so much for supporting me." Abdu even hinted at his upcoming projects, saying, "So many things are coming up, you guys need to follow me and watch."
Abdu Rozik later posted something on social media. Which read, "You're not born a champion, you become one!" A fan commented on his photo, asking, "What's happening at Dubai airport? Abdu is a wonderful individual! God, I would give anything to work for Abdu! He's very cute! Another user said, "Abdu, you are loved." May God grant you all the joy and prosperity you deserve. Others questioned why he was accused with stealing at the airport in Dubai.
Abdu's team issued a statement with Khaleej Times reacting to the arrest reports. The statement read, "First of all, he was not arrested - he was only detained by the police. Abdu Rozik provided an explanation and was released. He will be attending the award ceremony in Dubai today. Secondly, information in the media is not correct. We will take all legal action to protect Abdu Rozik and his image. Also, we will provide you with all the information later on to inform the Indian people. Believe us, we have a lot to say regarding this issue."
On Saturday night, Rozik and his Bigg Boss 16 co-contestant and bff Shiv Thakare attended the award show in Dubai. Vishal Kotian, Divyanka Tripathi, Vivek Dahiya, Rakhi Sawant, and Divya Agarwal were among the other Indian celebs who attended the event.
