The first eviction of Bigg Boss 20 has taken place, with Austria-based Afghan actor Rohed Khan becoming the first contestant to exit the Salman Khan-hosted reality show. His eviction came during the second week of the season after he received the least number of votes among the nominated contestants.
Rohed was nominated for eviction alongside Aasif Khan and ScoutOP after Bigg Boss took action against the contestants for discussing nominations. The controversy began when footage showed Aasif, Rohed, ScoutOP and captain Yung DSA discussing possible nominations and eviction strategies. Since discussing nominations is against the show's rules, Bigg Boss cancelled the nominations made by the housemates and directly put Aasif, Rohed and ScoutOP in the danger zone as punishment.
Yung DSA, despite being part of the conversation, was spared from the nomination process as he was the captain of the house at the time. The decision also led to Aasif questioning the fairness of the punishment. He openly expressed his displeasure over being nominated despite the circumstances.
Rohed's eviction was also linked to the show's Extra Jeevandan twist. Before the final voting, the three nominated contestants had already lost one of their two lifelines during a captaincy-related task. Gullu chose ScoutOP, Mahhi Vij picked Aasif, while Kanika Mann selected Rohed, resulting in each of them losing one lifeline. As he leaves, Scout OP and Rhiti Tiwari break down in tears.
With the voting process concluding, Rohed received fewer votes than Aasif and ScoutOP. As a result, he lost his second lifeline and was eliminated from the competition. His exit makes him the first contestant to leave the Bigg Boss 20 house, with 15 contestants continuing their journey. Salman Khan even said, "Job well done. Well played with dignity. Your are a good man, We will work soon innshallah."
Rohed's relatively low-key stint in the house also became a talking point. Unlike several contestants who quickly found themselves at the centre of arguments, tasks and group dynamics, the actor struggled to establish a strong individual presence. While he was often praised for his looks, he rarely voiced strong opinions and was not involved in major confrontations during his time on the show.
His brief stint ultimately came to an end in the show's first elimination week, as Bigg Boss 20 continues with the remaining contestants battling it out for survival.
