Dipika Kakar is one of the most bankable actresses on television. So far, she has appeared in shows like Sasural Simar Ka and Kahan Hum Kahan Tum, which earned her immense appreciation. However, she took a break to focus on her personal life with Shoaib Ibrahim and baby Ruhaan. Currently, she is going through a challenging phase in life. Amid this, reports are rife that she might make her TV comeback soon alongside Vivian Dsena.
If a post by Saas Bahu Aur Betiyaan is to be believed, the actress has been approached for Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta's new show under their production house. If she gives a nod, she will star alongside Vivian Dsena, who was last seen in Bigg Boss 18. However, neither Dipika nor Vivian has issued any statement confirming or denying the reports.
Talking about Dipika, apart from being an actress, she is also a vlogger and often gives fans a glimpse into her life. She participated in Celebrity MasterChef recently, where her culinary skills were appreciated. However, she had to leave the show midway due to health issues. In May, she was diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer after a tennis ball-sized tumour was found in her liver. She underwent a 14-hour-long surgery for treatment. Currently, she is focusing on her targeted therapy and recently shared that she is feeling weak.
Amid the news of her comeback, a statement from the actress is going viral. During an Instagram live, a fan asked her about her return to television. To this, she replied, "I would love to! Kyunki maine apne doctors se bhi poochha hai ki main kab kaam kar sakti hoon. Kyunki mera actual plan yehi tha ki jab Ruhaan ka feeding chhoot jaayega, then uske baad I will plan. Get fit again and get back to work." (Because I even asked my doctors when I can start working again. My actual plan was that once Ruhaan stops breastfeeding, I would make a plan after that.) She mentioned that her return depends on her doctor's advice.
