Karan Kundrra could be making his much-awaited return to MTV's Roadies. According to a recent report by Free Press Journal, the actor and television personality is in talks to join Roadies Season 21 as a gang leader, potentially replacing long-time gang leader Prince Narula. While the news has created excitement among fans of the adventure-based reality show, neither MTV nor Karan has officially confirmed the development yet.
Karan is no stranger to the Roadies franchise. He first joined the show as a gang leader during Roadies X4 and later returned for Roadies Rising. His association with the reality show has made him one of the familiar faces among its former gang leaders. Karan had also shared the judging panel with names such as Rannvijay Singha, Neha Dhupia and Prince Narula during his stint on the show.
If the latest report turns out to be true, Karan's return could mark a significant change for the upcoming season. Prince Narula has been one of the most recognisable faces associated with Roadies in recent years. He initially rose to fame as a contestant on the show before becoming a gang leader and has remained closely associated with the franchise over multiple seasons. Prince was also part of Roadies Double Cross, the show's 20th season, alongside Neha Dhupia, Rhea Chakraborty and Elvish Yadav.
Karan's return would also bring a familiar competitive dynamic to the gang leader lineup. During his previous appearances, he was known for his outspoken personality and strong approach toward contestants. His earlier stint on Roadies Rising, however, ended amid controversy after a video involving a contestant surfaced online. Karan subsequently confirmed that he would not continue with the season, handing his gang over to Nikhil Chinapa.
The possible change comes at a time when Roadies continues to experiment with its gang leader lineup and format. The previous season featured a mix of established names and newer faces, including Elvish Yadav, who made his debut as a gang leader, alongside Prince, Neha and Rhea. Gullu won the last season.
For now, details about the complete gang leader lineup, the premiere date and the format of Roadies Season 21 remain awaited. If Karan does return, his comeback could add another layer of rivalry and nostalgia to the popular reality show.
