Nikki Tamboli pens emotional note after her appearance on Rise and Fall to support Arbaaz Patel amid hug controversy

Arbaaz Patel, who is currently participating in Rise and Fall, has been getting backlash for his behaviour and overprotective nature towards Dhanashree Verma on the show. Now, his girlfriend and reality TV star Nikki Tamboli was seen entering the house to support of her boyfriend. Nikki shared a clip on Instagram, where she was seen entering the house to meet Arbaaz, who broke down in tears on seeing her.

In the video, Nikki can be seen telling Arbaaz, "Mummy, papa, and dadi sab bohot khush hai. Number 1 contestant agar koi hai toh vo tum ho." Along with the video, Nikki wrote, "Some partners lift trophies, the best ones lift you - in every game and every moment Having someone who supports you behind your back and showers love is rare."

Earlier, a video of Nikki telling Arbaaz how Dhanashree is using him and doesn't care about him had gone viral. In the clip, Nikki was telling Arbaaz to play his game and not to care about anyone else. Her appearance comes amid the hug controversy with Dhanashree Verma.

During her appearance on the show, Nikki also schooled Arbaz over his behaviour, while questioning him about his 'side hug' remark to Dhanashree. His remakrs, had sparked controversy due to his seemingly possessive attitude towards the dancer, especially since he is in a relationship with Nikki. She could be seen telling him, "Possessive? Side hug, front hug, it was not necessary. You have no idea bahar kya ho raha hai."

Nikki schooled Arbaz and told him, "Manners and respect are above the game. Be kind. Aap accha nahi ban rahe ho, sab aapko hate kyu kar rahe hain? Kyunki aap gandi gaaliyan dete ho. Kyu de rahe ho? Unki families dekh rahi hain."

Nikki Tamboli comes to Arbaaz Patel's defence

While talking to The Times of India, Nikki addressed the hug controversy and defended Arbaaz saying, "Arbaaz comes from a reserved background. He hasn't been around girls who hug so closely, so his reaction came from a place of concern, not discomfort. He was just being protective and caring at that moment."

Nikki fell in love with Arbaaz inside the Bigg Boss Marathi 5 house. She clarified that his behaviour stemmed from sincerity, saying, "He was simply trying to look out for her. People need to understand his nature before jumping to conclusions."
