Netflix's captive reality series Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa has barely begun, but the confessions are already leaving everyone stunned. In one of the most emotional moments from the premiere, Harshad Chopda opened up about a deeply personal betrayal that has shaped his life. As part of her introduction, Akanksha Chamola, who ended up with cellmates Shreya Kalra and Shresta Iyer, was also asked to reveal a secret that no one knew.
When Harshad entered the show, his fans called him out for keeping his life private. As a challenge to enter the jail, he was asked to reveal a deep secret. He shared, "I lost two of the most important people in my life, my friend and girlfriend. At the same time, my girlfriend cheated on me with my best friend. From that time onwards, I am a little wary. This is a secret I've never shared with anyone."
The revelation left Shivangi Joshi, along with the Jailers, visibly emotional and speechless. As he got emotional, Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh lauded his courage to open up about such a tough phase. The actor went on to reveal that he had been hiding this since 2010.
As Akanksha entered the show, Riteish Deshmukh shared how people object to her dance moves, which she took with a pinch of salt. Akanksha also admitted that people call her an attention seeker and fame-hungry. She further stated that she is more than just Gaurav Khanna's wife.
As part of her introduction, Akanksha Chamola, who ended up with cellmates Shreya Kalra and Shresta Iyer, was asked to reveal a secret that no one knew. She shared, "Me and Gaurav are getting a divorce. We have been living separately for the last one year, and it has not been public. So that's my secret. It was a mutual decision. Things are not bad between us; we still talk to each other. We don't think we are compatible as partners because we both see very different futures, but not with each other. There is no bad blood between us."
The confession left not only her fellow inmates stunned but also Jailers Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh visibly shocked.
If this is how the journey begins, the biggest truths are still waiting to be unlocked. Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa is now streaming on Netflix, with new episodes every Saturday to Wednesday at 8 PM.
