Lock Upp: Shilpa Shinde claims Akanksha Chamola is on the show because of Gaurav Khanna

Bigg Boss 11 winner and television's controversial personality, Shilpa Shinde, has entered Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa as the first wildcard contestant. Her entry has wreaked havoc in the house, with the actress locking horns with fellow inmates from Day 1. In a fiery moment, she took a potshot at Akanksha Chamola and claimed she was on the show because of Gaurav Khanna.

Shilpa said that Akanksha Chamola is on the show only because of her husband, actor Gaurav Khanna. When Sufi Motiwala relayed this statement to Akanksha, she smiled and said she was being picked on. Meanwhile, Shilpa told Shreya and Madhuri Jain, "Main usko bola woh Gaurav ke vajah se aayi hain. Maine kaha usko kabhi dekha tha (I told her she is here because of Gaurav. I asked where I had ever seen her before?)."

The next morning, Akanksha admitted that if there was anyone in the house she could pick a fight with, it would be Shilpa. Later, she told the others, "I feel Shilpa doesn't like me." She also said that Shilpa was there to pick fights and accuse people.

Lock Upp opened with the sensational revelation that television actor Gaurav Khanna and his wife, Akanksha Chamola, were heading for a divorce. Akanksha revealed on the show that she and Gaurav had been living separately for the past year. She later shared that Gaurav wants children, while she lacks maternal instincts, which became one of the reasons behind their separation.

During the latest episode of the show, Akanksha learned that fellow contestant Shreya Kalra had overheard her secret backstage and later shared it with Sufi Motiwala. She admitted, "I love women, I admire and am attracted to them. They are my safe space. Growing up, I used to feel that it is a male-dominated world, and hence one always tends to get closer to their mother and sisters… that comfort one gets from them. Society says that women cannot be friends, but it was never like that for me."

Talking about Shilpa Shinde, she has been in the news after confessing that she levelled false sexual harassment allegations against producer Sanjay Kohli after exiting Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. She claimed she had to do so to secure her pending dues.
