Mallika Sherawat has reacted to the ongoing discussion around her green dress on The Traitors 2. After Shalini questioned whether the outfit was genuinely from Dolce & Gabbana, Mallika addressed the claims in a video shared on Instagram. She also appeared to take a playful dig at the chatter surrounding her outfit.
Reacting to the conversation about her dress being fake, Mallika shared a video on Instagram and said, "We need to address the most important issue on Traitors right now, my green dress. I mean, I didn't even realise that my dress would become such a big topic of discussion. If my dress, my figure, my glamour is causing a little bit of jealousy, I understand. Enjoy!" She wrote in the caption, "Dress meri, discussion sabka."
In the clip, Mallika is seen wearing a green dress and talking about her outfit for the day. She tells the other contestants that she picked a Dolce & Gabbana dress. Shalini, who was talking to Shweta Tiwari, Rida Tharana and Rhea Chakraborty, later takes the women aside and makes a claim about the label.
Shalini said, "Just a week ago, I wore a green and gold dress of Dolce, and it is not like this. I went to adjust her mic and saw the brand. She is lying. I have worn these dresses since I was 17-18. I have custom-made, and I can send you pictures. I have worn a Versace couture too and an Elie Saab dress. This is not it." Her remarks quickly became a talking point among viewers, with the exchange adding another layer of drama to the reality show.
The actress, who ruled the early 2000s in Bollywood with her glam roles, is the highest-paid contestant on The Traitors 2. She is in the news for her bizarre claims. Earlier, she grabbed attention for saying Tom Cruise has a crush on her. She added, "I'm not lying. If I had a phone, I would've shown you his videos."
Apart from this, she assured Shweta Tiwari of setting her up with a European man. The conversation happened when the two were in the billiards room along with their fellow contestant Rhea Chakraborty. Mallika Sherawat told Shweta Tiwari, "I have promised her I am going to set her up with a nice European man who is going to cherish you, celebrate you."
